About the Author

Rahil JK — known among enthusiasts as Torque Inductions — is a mechanical engineer, vintage motorcycle restorer, and founder of rd350.info. A graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, Rahil combined his passion and profession early on by joining Yamaha’s R&D division, where he worked closely on performance testing and fine-tuning of RD series components. That hands-on engineering experience shaped his lifelong dedication to the two-stroke legacy.

From the Yamaha RD350 to the RX100, Jawa 250, and other iconic classics, Rahil has spent years restoring, documenting, and preserving the sound, smell, and spirit of these machines. His website ROAR (Riders Of Authentic Revival) isn’t just a blog — it’s an evolving archive of restoration tips, port-timing data, manuals, and stories that connect old-school riders with new-age learners.

When he’s not working on engines, Rahil shares his insights and workshop life online, inspiring riders to “ride hard, wrench harder.”
